We are proud to announce that the Pritzker Prize, the most important prize for architecture, was awarded this year (2022) to Diébédo Francis Kéré, an African architect from Burkina Faso who lives and works in Berlin. Francis was educated in Europe, and in 2009 he was already a lecturer at the 27th Piran Architecture Days, the theme was New Challenges: Rethinking Architecture and Space, Rethinking Values, Ethics and Aesthetics.
