Lenart Piano is an architect, born in 1995 in Celje. Studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana. Between 2016 and 2020 he collaborated with the Celje-based collective Zgradbazamisli. Between 2020 and 2022 he was a technical consultant at the faculty in the courses Seminar Krušec and Architectural Design 3. Since 2019 he has been working with Arhitektura Krušec. In 2022 he graduated with a Master’s degree at the Faculty of Architecture with his Master’s thesis: ”Can We Build Differently? The conceptual design of a hempcrete factory in Šmatevž near Gomilsko” under the mentorship of prof. Tomaž Krušec. The thesis was awarded a faculty Prešeren prize and a scholarship of the Plečnik fund. It was also selected as one of the 9 finalists for the 2023 Mies van der Rohe Young Talent Award and exhibited at the Venice architecture Biennale.
