The exhibition Tendence, Celje architecture and urban planning 1955–1985, for the first time offered an
insight into the lesser-known post-war architectural creations, ambitious urbanization and mass housing
construction in the third-largest Slovene city, which evolved into present-day dimensions. From July 2017 to the end of August 2018, the authors of the exhibition researched, selected and curated the available material (photographs, blueprints, sketches) from various local institutions and personal archives, evaluated the existing conditions of buildings, designed the exhibition material, a catalogue and other printed matter, and also made sure that the exhibition was set up in once-popular, abandoned restaurant Majolka, in the city centre of Celje.
